Fred Jones was the son of Mayor Fred Jones Sr. and a member of Mystery Incorporated. He had a fondness for traps and sometimes for Daphne Blake. He was a student at Crystal Cove School and owned his own transport van known as the Mystery Machine.
Personality[]
Ultimately, he was kind boy, however, he often misjudged comments, which sometimes hurt Daphne. He loved setting traps and often only thought of traps, which Daphne also found hurtful.
Appearance[]
Fred wore a white top with blue trousers and an orange ascot, similar to that of Daphne's. He was the tallest of the gang and was often described as being a strongman.
Biography[]
He tried convincing his father that traps were a good thing, but he couldn't succeed. He and the gang investigated the Crystal Cove Underground. He stole a body of a cocooned man in order to give to Professor Emmanuel Raffolo to experiment upon. He felt guilty after hearing that the Professor had been attacked by the Slime Mutant. He set a trap for the Slime Mutant underground, however, when it failed he became confused and decided to take another look at improving it. (Beware the Beast from Below)
Outside his house, Fred had set a new trap. He drove the Mystery Machine to Gatorsburg in order for Mystery Incorporated to investigate their lead from Mr. E. Fred discovered that the engine from the Mystery Machine was missing and they were forced to stay in the Drowsy Gator. He showed Daphne his new trapbook, which outlined all the traps he had created. He helped the gang escape from the hotel, before capturing the Gator People with his latest invention. (The Creeping Creatures)
